This document outlines the core vision and systems of Pixie Hunt, an AR treasure hunt that rewards real-world exploration, community participation, and cultural discovery.

1. Vision & Goal

The goal of this game is to get people moving and exploring the Philippines by turning everyday places into playful discovery zones. Players scan AR stickers to unlock cultural cards, prizes, and community events—building a shared sense of adventure while supporting local merchants and tourism.

  • Explore: Discover cafés, malls, schools, and tourist sites through AR markers.
  • Collect: Earn cards across six rarities with set bonuses and seasonal themes.
  • Reward: Win vouchers, raffles, Pixie Coin, and cash-out options (with KYC).
  • Connect: Events, quests, and partner promos that bring people together.

2. Core Game Loop

  1. Find partner spots with visible PixieHunt stickers.
  2. Scan using the in-app AR camera.
  3. Reveal drop: cultural card, Pixie Coin, raffle entry, or event ticket.
  4. Track streaks, complete quests, and level up for multipliers.
  5. Redeem rewards; trade up collections; join live events.

3. Rewards & Economy

We balance fun, fairness, and sustainability:

  • Pixie Coin: Earned via scans, quests, events. Redeem for vouchers or cash-out (KYC required).
  • Rarity Tiers: Common → Mythic with published drop bands and event-limited boosts.
  • Controls: Daily caps, diminishing returns on suspicious behavior, and location/time gating.

4. Partner Spots

We collaborate with malls, cafés, schools, and tourist attractions to place AR markers that drive real foot traffic.

  • Footfall: Players discover and revisit local businesses for special drops.
  • Promotions: Time-boxed campaigns, limited cards, or vouchers.
  • Integrity: Sticker codes rotate; anti-tamper prints; report & replace program.

5. Onboarding & KYC

Players can try scanning as guests, but rewards require login. Cash-outs require KYC with a valid ID and selfie match.

6. Fair Play & Anti-Cheat

  • Device binding + privacy-preserving fingerprint.
  • Geo radius & time window validation per sticker.
  • Duplicate & rate-limit controls with cooldowns.
  • Risk scoring & manual review for appeals.

7. Privacy & Safety

We collect the minimum data needed for gameplay integrity and payouts. Sensitive data (KYC) is encrypted at rest and in transit.

8. Roadmap

  • Seasonal card sets & city-specific campaigns.
  • Team quests, leaderboards, and collection trading.
